Lee Minshull has led a distinguished career spanning over three decades in the numismatics industry. Lee Minshull first started collecting coins as a child and served as the first American Numismatic Association intern, a position he proposed to the organization in the mid 1970s.
Through his numismatics business, Lee Minshull and his staff have bought and sold over $1 billion worth of rare coins and currency, and they have more than 100 years of industry experience. Additionally, Lee Minshull has served as a contributor to the Guidebook of United States Coins for over 25 years.
Lee Minshull belongs to several numismatics industry associations. A life member of the American Numismatic Association, Lee Minshull is a member of the Professional Numismatic Guild (PNG), the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS), and the Numismatic Guarantee Corporation (NGC).
Lee Minshull has been featured in the numismatics industry press on two occasions. In November 2008, The Numismatist magazine published a retrospective of Lee Minshull’s career, recapping how he first entered the industry and his early career accomplishments. In addition, the Numismatic News has interviewed Lee Minshull.
Specializing in American gold coins, Lee Minshull maintains a stock of 19th and 20th century pieces in denominations from $1 to $20. Lee Minshull stocks the $20 Saint coin minted between 1907 and 1933, the $20 Liberty coin minted between 1850 and 1907, and the $10 Indian coin from 1907 to 1933, to name a few.
Lee Minshull founded his business in 1992 after gaining 11 years of experience at Heritage Rare Coin Galleries in Dallas, Texas. In his spare time, Lee Minshull enjoys traveling, and he has been to all seven continents, including Antarctica.
