About Les Eck
Les Eck grew up in rural Haven, Kansas, as the son of a local businessman who owned a Ford dealership. After earning his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wichita State University in 1974, he owned and operated a Leavenworth, Kansas, Ford Lincoln Mercury dealership prior to moving to Wichita in 1983. Les Eck built a diverse entrepreneurial career over the next 15 years, while also raising a family.
In the late 1990s, Leslie Eck reentered the auto sales business through the purchase of his father’s dealership, Rusty Eck Ford. He subsequently expanded his car business by acquiring Midwest Toyota-Ford in Hutchinson, Kansas, and Rolling Hills Auto Plaza in St. Joseph, Missouri. He also recently bought a Kia franchise in Wichita that he has branded Midwest Kia. Les Eck and the Rusty Eck Ford team take pride in stocking a full range of quality, affordable, new and used cars.
