Liquid Church of New Jersey Provides Humanitarian Aid
About Liquid Church
As a Christian church community established in 2001 in New Jersey, Liquid Church aims to reach out to people in the local area and across the globe under the leadership of its lead pastor, Tim Lucas. Its international relief efforts have included clean drinking water projects in countries such as El Salvador, Haiti, and Ethiopia. Liquid Church has also helped many communities at home.
Following Hurricane Sandy in 2012, Liquid Church led hundreds of volunteers in supplying those affected by the storm with meals for Thanksgiving, as well as assisting in cleanup efforts. That same year, the church undertook large-scale renovation projects in New Brunswick, and Nutley, NJ, for homeless community members, and redeveloped the Eric Johnson House, which serves those with HIV/AIDS.
Continuing to increase its service programs in 2013, Liquid Church created an event for children with special needs known as the Winter Carnival. This event marked the beginning of Sunday programs for families with special needs children.
