Lisa DetannaLisa Detanna moved to the
Beverly Hills office of Drexel Burnham Lambert as an assistant to senior
executives. She used her time there to gain experience in the financial
industry, and in 1990, she secured employment at Dabney/Resnick Inc.,
now Imperial Capital, LLC.
Lisa Detanna earned her Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University in 1992 and continued working at Dabney/Resnick until 1999. At this point, she moved on to Morgan Stanley’s Beverly Hills office, where she worked for two years. In 2001, Lisa Detanna went to Smith Barney as Senior Vice President of Investments. Lisa Detanna spent several years there, earning the company’s designation as a Financial Planning Specialist and becoming certified by UCLA as a Personal Financial Planner. A highlight of her career occurred when Barron’s honored her as one of the Top 100 Women Financial Advisors in 2010.
Joining Wedbush Securities in early 2011, Lisa Detanna is Senior Vice President of Investments at the Los Angeles Private Client Services office. She is dedicated to the individual needs of each client, designing financial packages based on short- and long-term goals.
Outside of work, Lisa Detanna has been actively involved in her community for years. A past President of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, Lisa Detanna also served as the President of the Board of Directors of Westside Family Health Center. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Beverly Hills and is recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow for her contributions to the organization. Lisa Detanna gave of her time at the Women’s Care of Beverly Hills Medical Group as a volunteer coordinator and encouraged young people to look into investment business careers as a lecturer at Beverly Hills High School’s “career day.”
Currently, Lisa Detanna lives in Los Angeles, California. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dog, working out, and doing yoga.
