Living vs. Non-living Things
All living things grow, move, reproduce, and have cells. They must have all of these things to be considered living. People, animals, and plants are all living things. A girl is living. A dog is living. A tulip is living.
All non-living things cannot grow, move, reproduce, or have cells. Sometimes they may move, but do not reproduce. This would make them non-living. A pencil is non-living. A shoe is non-living. A pair of skis are non-living.
