What Would Steinbeck Say?

Westhill High School Library

featuring exhibits and storytelling about:

*What's a Human Library?

A Human Library is a storytelling event in which visitors check out "humans" and "read" their stories by listening to the storyteller and then engaging in a dialog about the subject.  The AP students have been preparing biographies about people who lived during the Great Depression and The Dust Bowl, as well as stories about people who are living with similar social and economic hardships today.  We will have a "catalog" for you to peruse when you arrive so that you can select and reserve your "book" for an assigned time during the event.  When it's time, we will bring you your book to read!
