The Black Cat: literary Analysis

The story of Edgar Allan Poe's black cat is a tale of moral degradation and remorse. Poe uses a sense of reality, and later twists it into a form of evil and despair, captivating the reader. "The Black Cat" plays to the readers ability to picture, and use their own feelings of perverseness or animosity that can be so easily activated within us.
