Chapter 8

1. He didn't want to be separated from his friends that helped him learned how to write and he also didn't want to be auctioned because Master Andrew was a powerful man and everyone was scared of him.

2. Master Andrew was being extremely violent to Frederick Douglass 's little brother and he beated him up a lot until blood came out.

3. He hates it because  there is no freedom for him and his fellow slaves. And their masters beat them for things that have no reason.
