Nouns and Adjectives

By: Holden Buchanan

Noun- A noun is a person, place or thing.

Adjective- A word that describes a person, place or thing.

Masculine words usually end with- o, dor

Feminine words usually end with- a, dora

Both genders- e, ista

Adjectives follow the gender of the nouns.

In english, adjectives come before nouns but in spanish nouns come before adjective.

Examples-

Black chair in spanish would be silla negra. Because silla (chair in spanish) is feminine, negro (black in spanish) changes to negra.

Silver notebook in spanish would be cuaderno de plato. Because cuaderno (notebook in spanish)  is masculine, de plata (silver in spanish) changes to de plato.

Now try it on your own...

Yellow table would be...

Blue board would be...

Clear window would be....

Black book bag would be...
