Project Purpose: To become more familiar with a potential career and a college that would allow me to be a physicians assistant.
Ultimate goal is to be a Military Physician Assistant
My ultimate goal is to become a Military Physician Assistant. For this career, you'll be providing health-care service typically performed by a physician, under the supervision of a physician conduct complete physicals, provide treatment, and counsel patients. Maybe, in some cases, prescribe medication. So you must graduate from an accredited educational program for physicians assistant. I want to pursue this career because ever since i was a little kid I've always wanted to help people and by being a Physicians Assistant that helps me do something i really love to do. The Beginning Salary for this job would be about $66,000, Highest Salary would be $88,000, and the Average Salary is $51,000. It will take me approximately 6-8 years. The degree I'm going for to do this particular job would be Masters of Science.
College I plan on going to....
The college I'm going to is A&T. It's located in Greensboro, NC. The tuition for not living on campus is $6,797.50 and the cost for living on campus is $30,015,765.50.
The number of students to teacher in a classroom is 23:1. There are three other colleges/universities that offer me the same degree they are: Kaplan University, NC State, and Walden University. Yes, High school chemistry is required to be admitted into A&T, and chemistry is also required for me to earn my degree. The minimum High School GPA is 2.95-4.0.
Some of the classes i could take while I'm in high school would be chemistry, biology or just basically anything dealing with medical attention.
