We approached the problem by we wanted to cover most of all the oil with shapes. The shapes we used were trapezoid, rectangles, squares, triangle and parallelograms. The area of the total of oil we cleaned up is 444.68 mile squared of it. The exact measure of oil that was spilled were 537.67 miles squared. We should be worried about the disaster because it hurting a lot of birds and animals. But we got a lot of the oil spill cleaned up. I don't think it is exact amount of oil spilled that we cleaned up. I think our polygons were kinda exact. I think it's gonna be less than the actual spill.
