Because of Tropical Storm Debby, Red Snapper Season has been extended to July 16, 2012. That means an extra six days of Gag Grouper and Red Snapper open simultaneously. This trip is quite an adventure as we travel far offshore to catch the fattest Red Snapper known to Southwest Florida.

Red Snapper is one of the best fish to catch and eat. Snapper usually feed and live within 30-200 ft of water. Snapper can be up to 50 pounds and 40+ inches long. They live by reefs, sandy bottoms, and clay bottoms.
