Here's to you, Video
Video, I am so in awe every time I see you.
Your maker, Joseph, is my all time favorite artist, and when I bask in your greatness I am reminded of my love for all of his works. Compared to some other Cornell assemblages you are quite modest, and I like that. It's your mysteriousness that attracts me to you the most. I am not sure what you mean, but that's okay (I do have theories, though). You make me wonder. I long to open you up-- your wooden frame begs to be touched.
I dare not.
I do not want to be tackled to the ground by a gallery guard for disturbing your peace. I am also wary of splinters.
I shall keep my hands to myself.
