The Flatiron Building was built in 1902 in New York, New York, USA. The name “Flatiron” comes from the cast-iron clothes hanger. The building is not an isosceles triangle like the hanger but it is a right triangle. The surface area of the building is 129150 ft^3 and the volume of the building is 128250 ft^3. The apex is only 6.5 ft. wide.
