One of my favorite messages to people is #positivityiscontagious. It's one of my mottos and something I try to think about each day. Negative thoughts, whether they're yours or someone else's, can be pretty damaging. Especially on the web.
When I saw Coke's #MakeItHappy ad campaign, I got excited about the message and the effects it could have. Sure, at the end of the day, Coke is trying to sell more Coke, but that's okay. They did it the right way with a campaign that pulls at heart strings and is SO important in today's digital age. Anyways, I like Coke better than Pepsi so I'm cool with it. :)
Let's all take a few minutes to turn the negative into positive and spread the love.
What you can do
- When you see a negative tweet, social comment, email, whatever - respond with a simple: #MakeItHappy
Filter out negative thoughts in your own mind to make room for the positive. Spread that energy in whatever you do. At work, at home, at the gym, everywhere.
