The marine otter is intelligent but endangered species in South America. the marine otter is the only otter in the ocean. The marine otter resides in South America, Peru, Chili, Argentina, and Magellan. The marine otter eats fishponds,crustations, and shore side fruit. the marine otter is endangered because of habitat destruction, pollution ,poaching , and over hunting. There is an estimated 1,000 marine otters left. the level of endangered is endangered. The species has babies at the age of 4-5 years old to have babies, and they usually have 1-2 babies at a time.
