About Mark Fabiani
A leading lawyer and communications strategist, Mark Fabiani has
extensive experience providing tactical counsel to various individuals
and companies, including high-profile politicians, professional sports
teams, and a software company. His career has spanned over three
decades, including tenures with the City of Los Angeles, the Executive
Office of the President in the White House (during the presidency of
Bill Clinton), and the United States Department of Justice. A graduate
of Harvard Law School, Mark Fabiani earned his juris doctor in 1982.
He now serves as principal at Fabiani & Lehane LLC, based in La Jolla, California. The firm provides expertise in branding, positioning, and communications strategies to clients challenged by complex legal, marketing, and image issues. Shortly after he first took on this role, Fabiani served as the deputy campaign manager for communications and strategy in Al Gore’s presidential campaign. Notably, prior to that, in 1989 he became the youngest person to serve as Los Angeles deputy mayor and chief of staff.
