About Mark Janasik

An experienced restaurateur and business manager, Mark Janasik currently serves as a managing member at CCG Restaurants, Inc. In this role, Mark Janasik oversees franchising of the company’s Taqueria del Sol restaurant chain throughout Florida, North Carolina, and other states. Offering Southwestern, Southern, and Mexican cuisine, Taqueria del Sol features casual and comfortable dining environments. The award-winning chain recently received a Top American Restaurant by Bon Appetit magazine and a 2011 nomination for outstanding restaurateur from the James Beard Foundation.

Mark Janasik began working at CCG Restaurants in 2006. From 2006 to 2012, he served as director of operations and vice president for the firm’s Five Guys Burgers and Fries franchising venture, a role in which he opened and managed franchise locations throughout the region. In 2007 and 2008, Five Guys was named one of the fastest growing companies in Jacksonville, Florida.

Prior to joining CCG, Mark Janasik served as a district manager at Waffle House, Inc. Before this, he worked in the insurance brokerage industry for five years. Mr. Janasik earned his bachelor of arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
