About President - CEO
Mark Zupon founded Zupon Entertainment in 2009. The production and
show development company nurtured homegrown programs such as My Crazy
Obsession and Hollywood Treasure. Channeling years of experience in
several industries, Mark Zupon manages his company's production
facility, based in Glendale, California, and the show development studio
in Santa Monica. During 2010 and 2011, Zupon Entertainment sold four
shows, including the aforementioned, to four prominent networks: TLC,
SYFY, Bravo, and Oxygen.
Prior to establishing his television production company, Mr. Zupon founded start-up distributor Heartland Insulation, Inc., a construction business and his first entrepreneurial venture. Launched in 1998 and located in Macedonia, Ohio, the company shipped construction materials to 24 states and evolved into a million-dollar-per-year business. In 2005, he sold the company to a multibillion-dollar corporation in order to pursue other interests.
Mark Zupon's career in construction and manufacturing dates back to 1988 CGI/Silvercote, Inc., a family-owned manufacturing business. His first job, and his introduction to television, began in 1985 at MTV Networks, where he worked as a production assistant on programs such as the MTV Video Music Awards and video jockey segments.
