About Martin Bertram Bakersfield

A native of Lansing, Michigan, Martin Bertram developed his work ethic at a young age. As a high school student, the current Bakersfield, California, resident worked two jobs while maintaining his studies and competing on both the football and track teams. After completing high school, he further solidified his strong work ethic through a position on a dairy farm, which found him milking cows, stacking hay, and completing other tasks in the field. Currently, Martin Bertram brings this hard work and conscientiousness to bear in his role as partner of Integrated Technologies (IT Works), an information technology firm based in Bakersfield.

Since founding the company in 2003, Mr. Bertram and his team at IT Works have helped numerous corporate clients find answers to their technological needs through comprehensive evaluations and individualized solutions. The wide range of technologies utilized by the firm include network platforms such as Microsoft Exchange and Citrix Metaframe, and database software such as Microsoft Access and SQL Server.

In addition to his IT accomplishments, Mr. Bertram enjoys playing chess, traveling, and writing. A published author, he most recently penned "The Vanity of Vanities," a work of medieval fiction based on Ecclesiastes.
