Radian: An angle equal to another angle in the center of a circle with an arc that is equal in length to the radius.

Degrees: Another unit of measurement for angles. (Ex- 180˙ = a straight line or 90˙ = a right angle)

Initial Side: A straight line that has a point, which another straight line is rotated to make an angle.

Terminal Side: The left side ray, other half of the angle.

Coterminal Angle:Angles already in standard position and have a common terminal side.

Reference Angle: (in standard position) The smallest angle between the terminal side and the x-axis.

Unit Circle: a circle with the radius of one.

Trig Ratios: Special measurements of a right triangle
