Matthew Herrera: UCLA Graduate Student, Anderson School of Management
Currently working on a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Anderson School of Management, Matthew Herrera plans to develop a career in management consulting. He is enrolled in the school’s Fully Employed Master of Business Administration program, which is a three-year program. This part-time program caters to employed professionals seeking to earn a graduate degree to advance within their existing line of work or experience a career change. Matthew Herrera focuses his MBA studies on strategy, human capital, and leadership. He intends to graduate in the summer of 2015.
Active outside of the classroom as well, Mr. Herrera belongs to several university-based clubs, including the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Club, Anderson Military Club, and the Anderson Management Consulting Association.
Mr. Herrera earned his bachelor’s degree in management, earning placement on the dean’s list for the last five of eight semesters. He also played Division I varsity water polo and was named captain of the weight room during his senior year.
