April National MOVchallenge
April kicks off with National Walking Day on Wednesday, April 2nd. Let's continue the trend all month long with walks at work, weekend strolls with family, and weekly opportunities to win!
Walk 25 miles/week to win!
Here are the challenge details:
4 Week-long Walking Challenges from April 1 - 28, 2014
Week 1: April 1-7
Week 2: April 8-14
Week 3: April 15-21
Week 4: April 22-28
- Goal: 25 miles per week (3.6 miles per day)
- Rewards: Each week, we'll select 25 winners from amongst those who reached the 25 mile/week goal. Winners will receive a neoprene wristband, the newest accessory for your MOVband!
- Make sure to sync your MOVband by 12 pm EST every Tuesday in April to make sure your miles are counted! Weekly winners will be announced on April 8, 15, 22, and 29.
Simply insert your MOVband device into the small pocket, secure the velcro wristband around your wrist or ankle, and get MOVing! Try it on the basketball court, around your ankle while biking, or other favorite activity!
Join the Movement!
Signing up for the April National MOVchallenge is easy, and anyone with a MOVband that connects online can participate (it's free!). All you need to do is join MOVABLE's National MOVchallenge group from your online account.
To do so, click on the "Join a Group" tab on the bottom right corner of the Activity Dashboard. Type in the invite code NEWYOU and click "Join" - it's that easy!
You can confirm that you successfully joined the group by visiting the "My Groups" tab and and selecting "National MOVchallenge" from the dropdown menu.
Don't worry, you can join anytime until the end of the MOVchallenge. If you're already in the group, you don't need to do anything...just keep moving with us (and sync your MOVband by the deadline)!
