Lakeside Library 2nd 9 Weeks

The Lakeside Library has been a bustling and busy place during the last nine weeks! Check out the video below for some of the highlights. :)

Collaboration and Lessons

During the last 9 weeks, I have taught a few lessons about how to navigate Destiny and the non-fiction shelves in the library. Kinder students made predictions and observations about the temperature inside gloves, and other students discussed their wonders after reading a great new Albert Einstein biography, On a Beam of Light by Jennifer Berne.

For 4th and 5th grade I used tackk (this website) to create some flipped content for PBLs. This presentation is about reader's theater and picture books. This one is about how to create bibliographies. I have also found books and/or online resources for each grade level. Everyone was so willing to collaborate with me this past nine weeks, and I really appreciate it!
