Carbon Cycle

Animals (Cellular Respiration), burning fossil fuels, and volcanic activity puts out C02, and the only thing that takes in C02 is plants. If we continue to cut down trees C02 will continue go into the atmosphere and creates a “blanket” (Green House Effect) , and increases global warming. Which affects habitats and is causing extinction. Carbon Dioxide is the most important long-lived global warming gas, and once it is emitted by burning fossils fuels such as coal and oil, a single C02 molecule can remain in the atmosphere for hundreds of years.
