"Dance Of Life" By Nirmal Kumar Mishra

It began with a dance
Unbounded in freedom
Far away from self immersion
With elements of mystery
Tucked into an impossibility
Shaking off years of prejudices
Creating a narrative arc
Shifting from one perch to another
With excitement of learning waning
With perversities growing up
Soft landing in limbo
With rare spasms of good luck
Life warped and twisted
There is little option than to find
A niche of ease inside myself
And take it as a last chance.

Narrative poetry is a form of poetry that tells a story, often making use of the voices of a narrator and characters as well; the entire story is usually written in metred verse. The poems that make up this genre may be short or long, and the story it relates to may be complex.
