In session 1 we learned how to describe a police scene. We also filled out a crime scene log book.
In session 2 we learned what to do to find out a fingerprint. We also explored methods for finding evidence.
In session 3 we took evidence from fingerprints. We also reviewed the process of fingerprinting and how to do it.
In session 4 we did a DNA blend. We did this by blending ketchup, enzyme and water.
In session 5 we learned about different types of hair. We found out that human hair is different than rat hair.
Session 6 and 7
In session 6 we explored the process of document analysis. We also completed a chromatography analysis. In session 7 we constructed a theory. We also identified who the suspect was for our case.
A job is case investigator. This is because they investigate crimes. They also do all the steps like: chromatography. Also another reason is because they do the fingerprint analysis. These are reasons why a case investigator is a job that is related to the forensic science.
