Michael S. Evers – Alternative Health Care Advocate
Michael S. Evers has a diversity of experience handling legal issues in the health care industry. As an attorney, his career focused on representing health care professionals facing prosecution for performing unconventional treatments. His work in this area led him to appear on media outlets, including the Today Show on NBC and Good Morning, America on ABC. Michael S. Evers also served as a panelist concerning the FDA and the Internet, and offered legal consulting services to the Congressional Office of Technology Assessment on the Unconventional Cancer Treatments project. Over the course of his career, he has authored a number of books concerning patient access to alternative medical treatments.
Currently, Mr. Evers serves as executive director of Project Cure, Inc., in Bradenton, Florida. This organization focuses on promoting access to innovative therapies for cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, and diabetes.
Michael Evers graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama with a bachelor of arts in English and went on to earn a juris doctor from the university’s School of Law. He also recently completed a graduate degree in gemology from the Gemological Institute of America.
