About Michael Woolson
An acting coach, Michael Woolson helps actors perfect their craft through a variety of effective techniques. After roughly 10 years of acting experience, he decided to help others achieve success in the entertainment industry by first joining the Larry Moss Studio as a teacher, where he gained practical coaching experience. Following that, Michael Woolson opened his own coaching studio near Beverly Hills, California. Complementing his success as a business owner and instructor, he also has directing experience, having helmed such stage productions as The Shape of Things and Four Dogs and a Bone.
Since opening his studio, Michael Woolson has achieved renown in Los Angeles for the quality of his services. As a coach, he focuses especially on helping his students express authentic emotions and create deep characters. Over the course of his career, he has coached the likes of Evan Peters, currently on American Horror Story, and Mila Kunis, who has appeared in films like Oz: The Great and Powerful and Black Swan and will soon star in 2014’s tentpole sci-fi action adventure Jupiter Ascending.
Beyond his interests in acting, Mr. Woolson cultivates a passion for architecture.
