My name is Kyle Mora. I was born on February 21, 1997 at Èl Camino Hospital in Mountain View. I have grown up in San Jose, Califonia with my parents: John and Kitty, and my younger brother: Justin.
I have always had a passion for baseball. I do not know where I got it from since my whole family plays soccer, but I have loved the sport from a young age. I have played throughout my high school career and will continue to play next year at the University of California, San Diego.
Along with playing baseball, a few of my other hobbies are hanging out with friends, going to concerts with them (as seen in the photo), playing the guitar, and hanging out at the beach. My friends have always been a big part in my life. We always find weird ways to have fun and enjoy our time together. Music is another part in my life that I consider to be important. Both listening and playing, you have a chance to express yourself and how your feeling at the time. It can also be psychologically calming to help you escape from whatever's going on in your life at that moment.
I consider myself to be a pretty competitive person because I grew up playing a lot of competitive sports and always competing with my dad and younger brother. I enjoyed the atmosphere of Monarch Madness and cannot wait for this year as a senior.
I am a very family oriented person. They are my backbone and are always there for me whenever I need them. Last week, we took a cruise to Mexico. My grandparents, parents, brother and I stopped in Cabo, Mazitlan, and Puerta Vallarta. It was the best vacation I have ever been on because it encompassed almost all of my hobbies in one trip.
As for the future, I plan to enjoy the rest of my time at Archbishop Mitty by trying to go to as many events as possible , participate in as much as I can, and just savor the time spent with the people you will not get to see during the next four years or more. After that, it's on to college to meet new people, play baseball, and get my college education. I don't like planning too far ahead because I like to see what life throws at me and trust that God has a plan to help me through the good times and the bad. That is most of my story to this point!
