In my business, KJ's Mobile Wedding Chapel, I will be providing people with a cheap effective way to get married on the fly! We will provide 30 minute weddings and 60 minute weddings.

I will be able to do no more than 4 thirty minute weddings per day and 2 sixty minute weddings per day. In my first day I cannot spend more than \$2,400.

## Business Plan: Cost & Selling Prices

The thirty minute wedding costs me \$300, and the sixty minute wedding costs me \$600.

I can price the thirty minute wedding at \$600, and the sixty minute wedding at \$1,100.

My profits will be the money made minus the money spent.

x = # of thirty minute weddings, y = # of sixty minute weddings

Cost = \$300x + \$600y

Sell = \$600x + \$1,100y

Profit = Sell - Cost

P = (600x + 1,100y) - (300x + 600y) OR

P = 300x + 500y4

## Maximize Profits

(0,2) = 300(0) + 500(2) = \$1,000

(4,2) = 300(4) + 500(2) = \$2,200

(4,0) = 300(4) + 500(0) = \$1,200

My profits each day will be maximized if I do 4 thirty minute weddings and 2 sixty minute weddings per day.
