About Moira Dempsey

A graduate of Deakin University and Monash University, Moira Dempsey has dedicated her career to educating others. She began her professional career in 1984 as a secondary school teacher in Victoria, Australia, teaching courses such as English, geography and social science to students in years 7 through 12. Over the next 15 years, Moira Dempsey held positions as an English teacher and administrator consultant in Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia.

In 1997, Moira Dempsey transitioned into the kinesiology field when she became an instructor in modalities such as Brain Gym, Healing for Touch, and Rhythmic Movement Training. In addition to offering kinesiology consulting for children and adults, she has organized hundreds of workshops and classes for trainee instructors in various reflexive therapies for Rhythmic Movement Training International (RMTi), an organization she founded. Through her work with RMTi and Integrated Being, a private kinesiology practice in Australia, she has provided consultation and led seminars in Poland, Thailand, South Africa, and elsewhere.

Throughout her career, Moira Dempsey has earned significant recognition for her professional efforts. She has received several awards from the Educational Kinesiology Foundation and Brain Gym International, an organization for which she served on the board of directors for nearly a decade. She also received a Humanitarian Award from the Australian Kinesiology Association for her contributions to the recovery after the Asian tsunami of 2004.
