About Mouth Cancer
Mouth cancer has the same meaning as oral cancer - it is cancer that occurs in any part of the mouth; on the tongue's surface, in the lips, inside the cheek, in the roof and floor of the mouth.
White patches anywhere in your mouth
Symptoms are lumps on the lip tongue or in the mouth or throat and red patches anywhere in your mouth.
Alcohol and tobacco are carcinogenic. Chewing tobacco or other smokeless tobacco, can cause mouth cancer.
Stage 0 the cancer has just formed in the throat.
Stage 1,2,3: the tumor in the throat has enlarged and spread to close by lymph nodes
Stage 4: mouth cancer has metastasized, or spread, to other organs in the body.
