Circumference of a circle

By: Josselyne Renteria

To calculate the Circumference of a circle is by using C=πd or C=2πr.

What is circumference of a circle?

Circumference is the distance around the circle.

Parts of the circle...

The diameter is half of the circle. And the radius is half of the diameter.

Directions

1. Rewrite the formula...

2. Then plug in the numbers...

3. After that solve the problem...

Examples

Formula: C=2πr

radius=4

C=2πr

C=2(3.14)(4)

C=6.28(4)

C=25.12

Radius=2

What if you only have the diameter?

If they want you to find the answer with the radius and you only have the diameter.Well you can just dived the diameter by 2 and get you radius.

Examples..

Diameter=8
