The tragic story of Drishya and her friends' seperation
5th grade was about to end and every 5th grader was ecstatic to go to middle school. Most of my friends were going to Tuckahoe Middle School, the school I was going to. My best friend was in IB and so was I. We could have the same classes and we were super excited. The whole summer I was eager to be going to middle school with her. I had planned the whole year out.
In the middle of the summer, the tragedy came. No, she did not move to the other side of the county. In fact, I did. My dad bought a house in August, and it was a bummer. I couldn't get over it for even a month. I was devastated. We had planned everything out and now it was ruined. Sadness showered me. Instead of Tuckahoe, I was going to George H. Moody Middle School.
After a few weeks of school, I realized leaving friends was no big deal. I met a lot of friends, and the first friend I met at Moody, is a girl who sits beside me. Her name was Kelli and I immediately knew that I would like her. I met tons of people after Kelli, and I liked them all. In fact, I am still meeting new friends.
My final point is that no matter what, never feel lonely, because there is always someone out there that can make you feel better at the blink of your eye. :)
