Different Types of Poems
Concrete,Free-Verse,Narrative,Haiku,and Limmerick Poems
The first poem is a concrete poem, this type of shape poetry is poetry in which the typographical arrangement of words is as important in conveying the intended effect as the conventional elements of the poem, such as meaning of words, rhythm, rhyme and so on.
The second type of poem is free-verse.A Free verse is an open form of poetry. It does not use consistent meter patterns, rhyme, or any other musical pattern.
The third picture shows a narrative poem. Narrative poetry is a form of poetry that tells a story, often making use of the voices of a narrator and characters as well; the entire story is usually written in metered verse.
Next picture shown is a haiku. A haiku is a very short form of Japanese poetry
And finally the last type of poem is a limerick poem.These types of poems are a short, humorous, often ribald or nonsense poem.
