Luke's CPR

CPR

Adult: First check the scene and see if it's safe then check the person and see if they respond if they don't respond call 9-1-1. After that go into CPR with 30 chest compressions at 100 compressions a minute. After you give the 30 compressions give 2 breaths and then repeat until A.E.D or help arrives.

Child: First check the scene and see if it's safe then check the child and see if they respond if they don't call 9-1-1. After that then go into CPR with 30 chest compressions at 100 compressions a minute with one hand. After the 30 compressions give 2 breaths and repeat until help or A.E.D arrives.

Infant:First check the scene and see if it's safe then check the infant and see if they respond if they don't respond call 9-1-1. After that go into CPR with 30 chest compressions at 100 compressions a minute with two fingers. After you give the 30 compressions give 2 breaths and then repeat until A.E.D or help arrives.


Unconcious Choking


Adult: First check the scene then check the person for response if no response call 9-1-1 then go into CPR with 30 compressions at 100 per minute. Then check the mouth for a object if no object give two breaths then repeat the cycle until the object comes out. And when you can see the object do a finger sweep.

Child: First check the scene then check the child for response if no response call 9-1-1 then go into CPR with 30 compressions at 100 per minute with one hand. Then check the mouth for a object if no object give two breaths then repeat the cycle until the object comes out. And when you can see the object do a finger sweep.

Infant: First check the scene then check the infant for a response if no response call 9-1-1 then go into CPR with 30 compressions at 100 a minute with two fingers. Then check the mouth for a object if no object give two breaths then repeat until you can see the object then take the pinky finger and sweep out the object.

Adult and Child Conscious choking

First check the scene then if they are choking call 9-1-1 then get to their height if a child. Make sure to put your thumb inside your fist and put it above the belly button but underneath the ribs then do the Heimlich maneuver 5 times as separate attempts then if the object still doesn't come out retry until the object comes out or help arrives

Infant Conscious choking

First check the scene then check the infant if they are choking call 9-1-1 then secure their head and make sure their feet are above their head then give five back blows with the heal of your hand. Then turn them over and still secure their head and keep the feet above their head and give 5 chest compressions with two fingers. And repeat until help arrives or object comes out.

Bleeding

First check scene then put gloves on take gauze and put it on the wound and ask if they could put pressure on it while you wrap it. Wrap it so each time you over lap each other. After that if it bleeds through repeat then have them keep it elevated and change it daily.
