Bullying is unwanted aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. Here are some of the notes i have found about bullying.Both kids who get bullied or bully have long lasting problems.

In order to be considered bullying, the behavior must be aggressive and include:An imbalance of power: Kids who bully use their power- such as physical strength, access to embarrassing information, or popularity- to control or harm others. Power imbalances can change over time and in different situations, even if they involve the same people.Repetition: Bullying behaviors happen more than once or have the potential to happen more than once.Bullying includes actions such as making threat, spreading rumors, attacking like someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose.

There are 3 types of bullying Verbal, Physical and Social bullying. Lets take a look:

Verbal bullying is saying or writing mean things. Verbal bullying includes:


Name calling

Inappropriate sexual comments


Threatening to cause harm  

The second type of bullying is Social. Social bullying is sometimes referred to as relational bullying, involves hurting someone’s reputation or relationships.Social bullying includes:

Leaving someone out of purpose

Telling other children not to friends with someone

Spreading rumors about someone

Embarrassing someone in public

The last but not least one is Physical bullying. Physical bullying involves hurting a person’s body or possessions.Physical bullying includes:




Taking or someone’s things

Making mean or rude hand gestures.

There is many cases of bullying but the point everyone is trying to say is that it shouldn't happen and needs to stop. If you are getting bullied then there are teachers that you can talk to and they will help you defeat it and it will not happen anymore. Someone who is bullying someone most likely haws been bullied them self and they are taking it out on you. There is no reason to hide you are not alone just talk to someone and they can help you get through it. Some people think that they are getting bullied because they aren't good enough or not smart enough.  For stupid reasons and they are not alone. There is tons of people in the world that deal with this you are not alone. It is just up to you if you choose to talk about what happens to you or just keep it in to your self.
