President Barack Obama holds a bilateral meeting with Amir Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani of Qatar.

Qataris and and North Americans both believe that someone should cough or sneeze in a proper way and not at the meal table.

Qataris believe it is wrong to wear short clothing that does not fully clothe most of their body.

In the Qatari culture, if the dining guest is not muslim just follow the dining rules of the host.

In both cultures, be sure to arrive on time for the meal.

It is very important that in each culture the guest try a little of everything.

Most Qataris, who are muslim, do not eat pork or drink alcohol.

Qatari traditional means are made up of seafood.
