College And Careers

San Diego State University
The University Of San Diego was founded in 1897 on the coast of California. It had all been created and started with 35000 students. The campus itself is 180 acres big and is part of the top 3 schools in academics. I would want to enroll at this school because it it a very advanced school with high expectations and only those that get accepted or invited are able to attend this school. The location of this school is along the coast of California and very close to the beach. The school is the largest and oldest higher education institution in all of San Diego County.
You must be able to complete 60 or more transferable semester units. Requirements are being able to complete a minimum of 30 units of General Education and with a minimum of a "C" in all classes. The GPA has to be 2.0 or higher and the SAT score has to be on a 1600 scale to even be able to attend. One of two major college admission tests has to be taken and submitted also.
With a total of 31000 students attending, there are 139 different bachelors and 18 doctor degrees in total. This is the most offered all of California. There are so many organizations at the college offered when you first attend it. The school has more than 300 student organizations. Every fall there is a Green Fest tradition. The tradition is to put together many organizations to celebrate the Aztec pride and show how their success has payed off and especially them still being a part of the Alumni family.
The career i would want to follow in college would be as an electrical engineer. The job has to do with technology such as computers or gadgets or even cars. We would be the people to fix any problems with a computer of even creating them. I would want to go more into detail on the problems or also how the computer works. There is also were you learn about transmission and distribution on electricity. The job could also show you how electricity and electro magnets work together. In school after completing this, you would be able to have a academic degree and major for electrical engineering. If you join this class at SDSU you would work with designing complex systems. Engineers also can get really good jobs in life so this could also prepare me for real life jobs. Many jobs are in need of people like electrical engineering that can help with problems such as making people do things easier such as a faster computer, a way to fix electrical problems and many more.
An average of a electrical engineer gets paid about 56000 to 137000 a year. The higher trained ones and managers get paid up to 140000 a year. if you were part of the Entry Wage then it would be from $34.91 to $72,620 hourly. Median Wage is from $44.11 to $91,740 and Experienced Wage is $56.51 to $117,540.
