Transferring & Transforming
You need electricity (electrical energy) to power the light bulb. It then produces light (radiant energy) and as you all know light gets warm which transforms (thermal energy). Electrical and thermal are part of MRS
The electrical energy from the stove is transformed into thermal energy which is boiling the water.
When you eat you transfer the energy you get from the food into chemical energy.
The ball has potential energy while it is at the top. But as soon as it starts to roll the energy will be changed to kinetic.
The bike rider's energy changes as shown in the picture when he goes up and down the hill.
The fire makes thermal energy and is transferred into to radiant (light) energy.
By rubbing his hands together he makes mechanical energy which is then transferred into thermal energy (friction).
