Example From Task Two

Limerick

A limerick is a short, humorous, often ribald or nonsense poem.

There once was a pear.

Who had fluffy hair.

He liked to roll.

So he was put in a bowl.

And that was a scare!

The example of Poetic elements in the poem is personification and rhyme. For personification they use the word hair as if the pear was a person. For rhyme basically the whole limerick rhymed.

Example from Task Three

Diamante Poem

Dolphin

Friendly, adorable

Swimming, splashing, twirling

Quick, streamlined, graceful, sleek

Playful, grouped, intelligent

Fish, squid
