Hugo Chavez, Venezuela's great president, dies on March 5th, 2013 due to a heart attack. The illness that he was fighting was a tumor with cancerous cells. In his early years, he and his family were living in poverty. So, at a young age, he was sent away to live with his grandma who he says is a "pure human-being." In the 1970's, Hugo attended the Venezuela Military Academy. He graduated at the top of his class in 1975. Chavez, in the late 70's, joined the Marxist-lennin group (based his revolutionary ideas on this group later). In the late 1980's, Hugo lied to the people saying that he would uphold the U.S. form of government, but never kept his word. He lied to the people to gain political power. He served 4 terms as president in Venezuela, but lost his power when he passed away in 2013.
"is a great leader," but doesn't do what he says
