democracy=a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives

direct=in which people decide policy initiatives directly.

Representative=consisting of people chosen to act and speak on behalf of a wider group

autocracy=the right or condition of self-government, especially in a particular sphere.

  • a country, state, or society governed by one person with absolute power.
  • domineering rule or control.

monarchy=a form of government with a monarch at the head.

dictatorship=government by a dictator.

theocracy= a system of government in which priests rule in the name of God or a god.

anarchy=

  • absence of government and absolute freedom of the individual, regarded as a political ideal.  

oligarchy=a small group of people having control of a country, organization, or institution.
