Past History
The Oneida tribe originally lived in New York State.

Present History
Now the Oneida tribe lives in Wisconsin, Ontario, Canada.

Food
They like corn, beans, berries, corn bread, soup, stew.

Clothing
They wear dresses with leggings, shirts with skirts and they also wear underwear.

Homes
In the past they had long houses and wood-frame buildings covered with sheet of
elm-bark.


Tools
they have spears, shields, fishing poles, bows and arrows, clubs.

Games
They played throwing a dart through moving hooped that's one of the games they played.

Interesting Facts
A lot of the boys had Mohawks. They used elm-bark or dugout canoes for fishing trips. Originally the Oneida tribe used dogs as pack animals.
