New Albany High School PTO

Dear Members,

The PTO is pleased to announce that international author and educator Rosalind Wiseman will be visiting the community on Tuesday, April 23. You may know Ms. Wiseman as the author of the bestselling book Queen Bees & Wannabees.  She has worked with thousands of students, educators, parents, counselors, coaches and administrators to create communities based on the belief that each person has a responsibility to treat themselves and others with dignity.  Ms. Wiseman’s visit will culminate in a presentation to parents at 7:00 at the McCoy Center.

With recent events in our community, it is of utmost importance to work toward ensuring dignity and respect.  Ms. Wiseman’s visit will be a powerful resource in the district’s goal of “strengthening positive school culture”.

While our school district is well funded, outstanding programs like this cannot be accomplished without financial support from committed parents like you.  The High School PTO had been "challenged" to raise money to support this event.  As an added incentive, an anonymous donor has graciously agreed to match all donations up to $2,500.  While the April 23rd event is free and open to the public, we hope that you will strongly consider donating.  We are thankful for all amounts, both big and small.

Those who donate $250 per person or $500 per couple are invited for a VIP cocktail reception at 5:30pm prior to Ms. Wiseman’s remarks.  This event will take place at Bungalow Home (across the street from the McCoy).  Donors at this level will also receive reserved priority seating at the presentation.

You may donate by sending a check to:

NAHS PTO, 7600 Fodor Road, New Albany OH 43054

Please write "Wiseman Event" in the memo spot.

You can also click on the Donate Here button below to donate via the New Albany Community Foundation website.  Please write "PTO challenge" in the special instructions box, so that we can take advantage of the matching gift.

Please reach out if I can answer any questions.  I look forward to seeing you on April 23.

Fondly, Bonnie Abramowitz-High School PTO President
