What a nice video introduction! I am Shelley McLaughlin and I teach TK in Lake Elsinore. I have taught many grade levels in my career, but 16 years ago I discovered my home in Kindergarten. Four years ago, I took the leap and went to TK. I adore these little people! I am looking forward to increasing my knowledge and my skills in working with the youngest students. I know in my heart of hearts, that they need a more developmental approach and I look forward to learning ways to meet their needs!

Hello all, Monica here. I am here to receive my Admin. Office Assistant Certificate of Achievement with hopes of attaining a position in a school district to help students achieve their academic goals. In order to do this, I feel it is important to understand them in the adolescent stages.

I'm Christine Peres-Pena and I've been teaching for over 10 years with LAUSD and one year with PSUSD as a TK/K teacher. I have taught all grade levels with my MTC but this year was my first with TK's. I need to prepare for the coming year and prepare some exciting curriculum and centers for my little tykes. I'm very excited and challenged taking 12 units of ECE. Now I'm in vacation and I know I'm going to learn a lot and apply it next year!

I'm Kristal Rosson. I am 19 years old. I switched my major to do this instead the reason why I changed it because I always wanted to help children to have a better childhood then I did. Anyways I am excited to take these course and start teaching. I am going to learn a lot and I am ready for it. Can't wait to meet you in person and my fellow classmates on Wednesdays.

Hi,my name is Nora Hermosillo and I am 39 years old and I have daughter that is 12 years old. I currently own a hair salon in cathedral city, I opened when I was 18 years old. However, I was working full time and also going to college at night for few years I wanted to get my AA and transfer degree in Psychology, but when I got pregnant had to leave school. I only needed few classes to graduate and couldn't finish them, my dream always had been to work in a Juvenal jail to help kids with problems. Time flies and I couldn't make it happen for one or other reason the classes I need weren't available for me at night, so talking to one of my clients that we had known each other couple years. He told me about ECE classes it sounded interesting and I am here and after watching your video I know I can learn more and make my dream come through helping kids with family problems and work in different places. I am willing to learn as much as I can, also I will love to read the book that helped you with your career at the beginning. ("Teacher & child, A book for parents and teachers"' by Haim Ginott.
