Josephinum Academy is an all-girls school catholic school located in the Wicker Park area. They were founded in 1890 by the sisters of Christian Charity. Josephinum Academy empowers young women to become confident, faith-filled leaders.
Josephinum is important to me because it is the school I attended on a daily basis and because it helps me learn and grow every day to create a better future for myself. It also is a loving community where one can feel welcomed and safe. AlsoThe teachers at Josephinum inspire me and put a sense of confidence in me to expect more out of myself and others. It is a good support system, because I know that if I fall I will have a community of people behind me to help me back up every step of the way.

Josephinum Academy should have off-campus lunch because it gives students a chance to get fresh air during the day and also because it lets students show their ability to follow the fifth Goal 5, “Josephinum students are committed to personal growth and an atmosphere of wise freedom”.
Off campus lunch would give students a chance to get out and get fresh air during the day. Students getting fresh air during the day would benefit them because it gives them the chance to release some stress and get some exercise, which would help them focus when they come back. This would make class time efficient.
Another reason we should have off campus lunch is because it would give students a chance to show their growth in wise freedom. It will show their growth because the school would be putting the trust into their students to go get food and to come back on time, and to go to class. Josephinum academy should have off-campus lunch for theses reasons.
Get in the game.
Here at josephinum we have our four major sports. This year all sports teams did remarkably well, including Varsity basketball who own regionals, and also the Jo soccer team won their regionals too.
Also coming up is our first Jopaloza. There is going to be music, games, food, and everyone's favorite a jump house. Free to get in but a small fee for food and games. All proceseds go towards getting picnic tables for lunch time! Come enjoy.
School is coming to an end and you can feel summer in the air. This past Saturday we said goodbye to our loved seniors who will now start their journey off into their future. Graduation was not sad but a happy moment that they will take with them for the rest of their lives.
