The Cherokee and Creek indians celebrate the green corn ceremony as a renewal of life and the renewal of life. They retell past stories. The Cherokee indians apologize and throw away broken/unneeded things. Creeks do the same and also celebrate happiness and kinship.

The Green Corn Ceremony takes place in the late summer. As said before, The Creek and Cherokee indians celebrate the renewal of life.
