Creating a Storage Teddy out of a Towel and Tea Towel
For this task we were asked to re-purpose an old product and change its use. I decided that I would turn an old towel and tea towel into a soft teddy with a small pocket in the back. I also used an old cushion for the stuffing. This process required me to make templates and cut them out of the towel, I stitched the teddy together and in the photos above you can see some of the steps in the process. This took a little longer than expected as I needed to hand sew it but it is something children could easily make in the higher grades of Primary School.
